Versatile Seed Cleaning Machine
This machine was originally developed to thrash and clean onion seed.
It is a simple robust design with few moving parts. This makes the machine easy to operate and to maintain.
The machine is mounted on a trailer base. This enables the machine to be be moved easily even on dirt roads. The unit can be fitted with either single or three phase electric powered motors.
The screens can easily be accessed to be cleaned and replaced, enabling cleaning of different seed sizes. It can also clean leeks and basil seed.
The thrasher can easily be replaced with a feeder hopper enabling the cleaning of lucerne, canola and other finer seeds.
Depending on various factors such as the variety of onion seed and the dryness of the product the machine can deliver 150 kg to 200 kg of cleaned seed. It delivers a minimum of 85% clean seed.
